Saying Yes – Becoming a BodyTalk Practitioner
As my inner world changed, my outer world shifted as well.
I was curious about a course called MindScape. It was a Life Sciences course through the International BodyTalk Association.
This was another stepping stone in improving myself and my environment. It opened my awareness in ways I hadn’t expected. I reconnected with an inner knowing I had dismissed for so long.
Over time I became interested in the BodyTalk Access course. This course taught me five techniques to support my health. I loved having tools I could use as often as needed.
As I continued sessions, my practitioner nudged me to consider becoming a BodyTalk Practitioner. At first, I brushed it off.
I came from a conservative faith background. How would this fit, with my beliefs? I already struggled to feel like I belonged as a single woman in my church—why add another layer of difference?
But I never felt judged in my sessions. I felt safe, supported, and spiritually respected. I worked through my limiting beliefs that had once helped me but were now holding me back.
Then one day, while praying, I asked God for help with a belief I was struggling with. In that moment, I felt I heard a voice say, “I have bigger things for you.” It wasn’t a direct answer to my prayer, but it was something greater—something beyond what I was asking for.
It was a special moment I’ll never forget.
A few days later, once again, my practitioner gently asked, “Have you considered becoming a BodyTalk Practitioner?” She followed with, “We need more practitioners like you.”
I couldn’t deny it anymore. I admitted I had thought about it, but I didn’t believe it would be a good fit for me. She believed in me and assured me that it wasn’t a problem. Her confidence gave me courage—I could work through those limiting beliefs.
Later, I was reminded about a BodyTalk Fundamentals course coming up. Could I take it? Again, the question of cost loomed large. But I had recently listened to a podcast about taking steps of faith, even when the outcome is uncertain.
So I signed up.
If nothing else, I would be investing in my own health. Almost immediately, opportunities opened up to cover the cost.
In the weeks that followed, it became clear: this was the “something bigger” God had planted in my heart.
I listened to a lecture based on 1 Corinthians 12:6–11 about the gifts God gives. The gift of healing stood out. I prayed, “If this is Your path for me, please lead me. Not my will but Yours.”
Through my studies, I’ve worked through many beliefs that once kept me stuck or frozen in the past. And the work continues—it’s a gentle unlayering, softening the emotional charge of the stories I’ve carried. This is a lifelong journey.
I am here for it.
I am in awe of how God led me here. This work lights me up. It’s truly an honor to support others through their health journeys.
If you feel drawn to explore what healing might look like for you, I invite you to consider booking a BodyTalk session.
Whatever you’re facing in life, you are worth investing in.
Your health journey matters—and you don’t have to walk it alone
